She is on the boards of the Dusseldorp Forum and the Screen Export Advisory Council for Screen Producer’s Australia. This series will be filmed on the West Coast of Tasmania mid 2022. Marta is currently producing and creating the Tasmanian drama series Bay Of Fires with ABC television. Her film credits include Paul Cox’s award-winning Innocence, John Curran’s Praise, Bruce Beresford’s Paradise Road, Jonathan Teplitzky’s Burning Man and Ellie & Abbie directed by Monica Zanetti. Most recently she starred to great acclaim in Melbourne Theatre Company’s A Doll’s House: Part 2, Gloria for the Griffin Theatre, Scenes from a Marriage at Queensland Theatre, The Deep Blue Sea for STC and performing in Archipelago Productions’ sell out seasons of Venus and Adonis, The Bleeding Tree at Hobart’s Theatre Royal and Jean Genet’s The Maids at the Playhouse Theatre. Marta has a wealth of experience on stage including being a member of Sydney Theatre Company’s Actor’s Company where she received a Helpmann Award for her role in Shakespeare’s War of the Roses. The couple met each other in 2003 and eventually got married. Recently Marta appeared in the ABCTV mini-series Stateless opposite Cate Blanchett and Wentworth for FOXTEL. She is married to her actor boyfriend Benjamin Winspear. Her numerous other television credits include the six-part Blackjack telemovies opposite Colin Friels, Devil’s Dust, and the award-winning mini-series After the Deluge. In November 2017, Dusseldorp and her husband Ben Winspear played the couple in Joanna Murray-Smith’s stage adaptation of Scenes from a Marriage for the Queensland Theatre Company. Marta was most recently nominated for Most Popular Actress at the 2019 Logie Awards. She stars in the popular series A Place to Call Home for Foxtel and in the ABC series Jack Irish opposite Guy Pearce. Marta received the AACTA Award for Best Lead Actress in a TV Drama for ABC’s Janet King in which she plays the title role and is also an Associate Producer.
